Chewing Gum on the Bedpost I would be that the "younger generation" has probably never even heard this expression--I don't think my daughter would be familiar with it! But my mother was! I remember her either singing it or telling us about it as kids when we had gum.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
