Some of our libraries allow beverages and sandwiches at the computer stations, but not crock pots. If a patron is being loud and sloppy in eating and another complains, the offending patron has to leave the building.
No, but the local Panera allows me to bring in a book.
I can't imagine a public library that permits cook-outs. That's weird.
No, but they don't really stop them either. I have seen people eating things like chips and crackers but or a burger? A crockpot?
That sounds like something that needs to be reported, the librarians shouldbe more aware.
I know they don't let you have food and drinks near the computers. That's the only place I've seen signs forbidding food and drink. I would imagine they don't appreciate it anywhere else in the library either, but you could probably get away with it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
