Dual Boot Windows 7 & Ubuntu?

Installing Ubuntu as a dual-boot with Windows without partitioning http://psychocats.net/ubuntu/wubi Download Ubuntu Desktop Edition http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu... You download the ISO. Image of Ubuntu 10.10 then you need to create a Bootable LiveCD for installation https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Burnin... Ubuntu 10.10 can also be run straight from the LiveCD from Boot without touching your Hard Drive Download Ubuntu Desktop Edition (Windows installer standalone Download) no LiveCD needed http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/windows-installer Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) User Guide http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Maverick I thoroughly recommend Linux Mint 9 LTS and Linux Mint 10 Main Edition which are built upon Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and Ubuntu 10.10 they are easy to install and easy to use plus they come with much of the software you are likely to need preinstalled Linux Mint has a similar installer called mint4win (mint4win works the same as the Ubuntu Windows installer so the instructions outlined above are almost identical) You keep Windows as it is, mint4win only adds an extra option to boot into Linux Mint. Mint4win does not require you to modify the partitions of your PC, or to use a different bootloader, and does not install special drivers.

It works just like any other application.

You need to set aside some space on your hard drive to install ubuntu. Go to Disk Management and create one partition of about 20 GB. Then from that 20GB, create 3 smaller partitions of 10, 6 and 4 GB.

You should have 3 separate partitions which you will later assign your /, /home and swap partitions when installing Ubuntu. See link below. Create your Grub2 bootloader on your Windows 7 partition when asked.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
