I'm on your side as far as the era. Here's what I think: I like elder scrolls because, like I said, the era in which it takes place. Medieval times have always fascinated me, along with the ideas of magic and otherworldy creatures.
I love how big the world is and the hundreds of locations. The only thing that I wish would get some patchin up is the combat style, make it more realistic rather than just hack away. I like fallout because of the graphics and free roam.
The only problem with this game is it's a little glitchy sometimes. But I love using VATS incombat to target specific areas - a great addition. My favorite fallout game is Fallout New Vegas.
Both these games are smiliar in gameplay, graphics, and a one-way main story line. It all depends on your preference :).
I love them both, but I'm more partial to Elder Scrolls because I'm a fantasy geek. I love TES IV (especially the Shivering Isles), and I can't wait for Skyrim :) After over 20 years of gaming, both TES IV and Fallout 3 are in my top five favorite games ever.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
