I'm not really sure what you're getting at. They have no reason to bullshit you. You do not see anybody because they do not schedule all of their interviews at once.
I fail to see why they would make up a story - if a candidate is unsuitable you have the courtesy to tell them on the stop. I have never interviewed for a job in the last 20 years that I was not offered the job often after having been interviewed by a director or department head after the initial interview although I have turned down offers in the interview. The plain fact is it is to every ones advantage to speak openly and honestly in the interview.
Do you honestly expect everyone who has been invited for interviewe to be given the same appointment (same day, same time). Interviews at my company can go on for three or four days and, yes, we do tell people on the first or second day that we're still seeing a lot of people - because we are - on the third and fourth days. I think you're a little too immature for a workplace, and your comment about burning down the building suggests you might be in need of a psychiatric assessment as you appear potentially dangerous.
Seeing a lot of people" doesn't mean they're scheduled right then for their interviews, could be other days as far as you know, or at a later time that same day.. There could even be other candidates there right now, being interviewed by other people, and you just didn't see them. Or maybe they detected your attitude, and decided to just let you down gently.
Maybe you are depressed and need to talk to someone about how all the job rejections are making you feel angry and frustrated. Maybe go on a self confidence course or get some advice on interview skills. Just get some support to help you find a job and deal with rejection.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
