Everybody's Favorite Baseball Player - Barry Bonds?

Everybody's Favorite Baseball Player - Barry Bonds Bonds has played his last game for the Giants, but plans on coming back next year as probably a DH for an American League team. So, who should sign this outstanding example of sportsmanship, most personable guy you could hope to find, and non-steroid user to a contract? And why?

We all may find him offensive but he is still a very good offensive baseball player. I do not know who should sign him but I expect some AL team will. Why?

Because unfortunately he is still a very productive major league hitter. He had a .480 on base percentage this year...which still led the league by a good margin. That means half the time he is stepping to the plate he is getting on base.

S slugging is still towards the top at .565. That is one thing you quickly learn about sports...it does not matter much what kind of person the player is, as long as he can still help a team win someone will take a chance. Personally I hope he ends up in some crap market city like Tampa Bay or KC but I fear he will be a Yankee..

The Yankees of course. It seems to me that he would fit right in at the Bronx Zoo. Of course I must admit that I am a Dodger fan and so I think that Bonds and the Yankees deserve each other.

Isn’t Yankee Stadium the place where all of baseball’s spoiled brats end up? Sources: my opinion KingofRandomCrap's Recommendations The Bronx Zoo Amazon List Price: $3.98 Used from: $0.01 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 15 reviews) .

Bonds SMASH Thats a good question. Obviously its got to be an American League team so Barry can DH. I think that it would be a terrible business move to sign Bonds.

If anyone does I think it would be the Rangers. They like to throw money around and not make there team any better. But you have to question why any team would.

Heres my top reasons why you should not sign him 1. Already broke the home run record and he no longer puts up great numbers. -tied for 7th on the Giants in hits, 8th in at bats -batted .276 average (not terrible, but his career avg is a little less than .300) 2.

S body is deteriorating fast (not because of steriods..no) 3. You will have to pay him a huge salary -2007 salary: $15,533,970 4. He hates the fans and media (see video) Sources: http://sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com/stats/sortable_player_stats.jsp?c_id=sf, http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/salaries/playerdetail.aspx?player=115 Video the video speaks for itself .

No one As a Giants fan, I will miss Bonds playing left field and I do wish that he plans to retire as a Giant whenever the Giants decides that it is the "right" time to retire his number 25. If Bonds do play again and another team signs him for a season, he might retire as that team member. Bonds is too old and too bad he can't seem to get the World Series ring. So, I do hope that he will announce his retirement from baseball soon.

Idk ive been watching sportscenter and they say it looks like the royals will try to pick him up and play for them. I personally don't like bonds but I think its good for their organization because the royals are one of the worst teams in baseball and no one really gos to see them, with bonds in the lineup they can definately sell more tickets. Its a shame that a man that started out following in his father and his god fathers footsteps would be known as the best homerun hitter who might of taken steroids.

But thats what ive been saying about certain player like griffey and bonds that they need to go to an american league team to play because they can still hit but not play the field as well as they used to. GRIFFEY TO COME BACK TO THE AMERICAN LEAGUE WE'LL SEE...and bonds to the royals is a big MAYBE.

Why do baseball player use tape on there wrist.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
