Evil askville email spamming?

Evil askville email spamming. Does anyone else feel that they do not need to be alerted to every question, comment, thank you, and featured question? I'm sick of getting at least 5 emails a day from askville.

If I want to know how things are going, I can come to the site! Does anyone else feel this way? Is there a button to stop this emailing?

You can change the settings go to "my askville" then "settings" and choose the "email" tab, and you can simply check that box at the bottem tuat says "never send any email......". Here is the partial screen shot: .

You can change the settings for that. Go under 'Settings' under 'My Askville' and then click on the Email tab. There are several options to choose from for different things, such as the newsletter, friend requests, etc.It really was annoying until I changed the settings.

Yes there is! I have stopped that a while ago, and do not receive any emails from Askville. Here is what you should do.1) Under "My Askville" click on "Settings".2) Click on "Email" tab.

3) Check the box next to "Never send any email notifications from Askville. " located at the bottom of the page.4) Click on "Save changes". You are done!

Yeah, you're right Everytime I check my ahoomail, it has all the askville updates on it, I am just tired of it. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
