Experts are divided over the Health Care Reform. What do you think? Will the bill currently being debated work?
Washington Post (11/30, Montgomery) reports experts remain "deeply divided over whether the" Senate Health Care Bill would "rein in soaring healthcare costs or simply add millions of people to a system ... already driving the nation toward bankruptcy. "Optimists say "the $848 billion package drafted by" majority leader Reid "contains all the most promising ideas for transforming the healthcare system and encouraging doctors and hospitals to work more efficiently. They say it would eventually reduce both private premiums and the swelling cost of govt health care for the elderly and the poor."But pessimists see "scant evidence that those ideas would quickly bear fruit, and in the short term they fear the initiative will leave Washington struggling to pay for a new $200 billion-a-year health program even as existing programs require vast infusions of cash to care for the aging baby-boomer generation.

It will be a disaster for our nation and our freedom Barbara Boxer (the moron Senator from California) was on the Senate floor today talking about the "right to privacy. " Liberals love to throw around this phrase to sugarcoat baby killing / abortion. Let me be clear (a phrase that our disaster of a president uses about 1000 times per week) Let me be clear, I do not believe that abortion should be banned......though I cannot imagine having aborted my son.... Anyway, I am just pointing out a HUGE liberal inconsistency.
Liberals want privacy. They want gays to be able to marry and fornicate without government intrusion. They want women to have freedom over their body and be able to kill the baby inside them at will.
Privacy Privacy Privacy.... But now they want to take over 1/6th of our economy and MANDATE that all citizens purchase health isurance......supposedely to benfit everyone.....(sound a lot like communism? You’re right) So they want privacy but when conservatives and independents want to be left alone we are told that this will help everyone.....particularly the millions of uninsured that are dying in the streets and are going to the ER with a "sniffle" Even if I believed all the lies....like the 47 million uninsured which Obama lowered mysteriously to 30 million in his speech to the joint sessions.....even if I believed that the insurance companies are EVIL and Democrats are here to save the day.......even if I believed the lie that this nightmare will be deficit neutral.......even if I believed that my tax dollars would not fund the abortion of some hussey who is on her 5th abortion........even if I believed that adding 1 government option will create competition but the current 1700 insurance companies do not, even if I believed Obama’s lie that his healthcare fix will help our economy...... THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO REQUIRE THAT I PURCHASE HEALTH INSURANCE. I have the right to privacy...leave me alone you damn hypocrites.
The government cannot run anything well.......and they are a disaster with the money aspect of things.... USPS MEDICARE MEDICAID FANNIE FREDDIE all insolvent...... to name a few .
1 It will bleed the Nation over time AS WRITTEN. The bill does not control the private insurance companies, and that is the MISTAKE which will over time bleed the working class of Americans because the ONE THING the BILL DOES DO is makes ' INSURANCE MANDATORY" UPON ALL WORKERS.Blessings.........AnnleeAnd yes, I have read the proposed bill......Have you? .

2 Just to note that the health care won't take affect until 2016 so that they can say it is only $848 Billion. The cost of the bill manipulated to make it look like we aren't deficit spending. Actual cost over 10 years is about $2.2 Trillion.
Taxes and revenue are about $900 billion. Deficit is about $1.3 Trillion for this bill. Anyone saying that this is deficit neutral isn't telling the truth.
They manipulate the cost the same way they try to say there are cost savings in the bill which there aren't. Bottom line is, this bill will increase the cost to everyone and increase the deficit by at least $1.3 Trillion. It is impossible to understand how anyone can argue that health care is too expensive and argue for this legislation. It simply doesn't work.

Most experts and people in general are against it.
" "Is the health care bill dead on arrival?" "Since Health Care Reform has been shelved by the administration, how many people, do you think, in the U. S" "Are states in a double bind on health care reform?
Does anybody in politics really care about health care or are people who die or suffer.
Since Health Care Reform has been shelved by the administration, how many people, do you think, in the U.S.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
