Fellow Democrats: would you support adding tort reform to the current health reform bill?

Republicans had a hand in crafting the health care reform by forcing the Democrats to take the single payer option out of the Bill. I believe it was a move that the Republicans and Independent Joe "the Hartford" Lieberman used to suck up to Big Insurance and it also kept the ":special interest" money flowing into their pockets.

My biggest issue: is the tweeners. Those that don't currently qualify for Medicaid, or have a full-time job that pays health insurance. The Obama plan is going to make the average guy in the tweener position give up and accept Medicaid instead of working harder to build a better life for him and his family.

And for what? An Obama Presidential vote in 2012. Ten years from now Obama will be a distant memory but that average guy is still going to be on Medicaid.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
