I believe its to see injustice and evil for what it truly is and have what may be the only true freewill choice in a deterministic causal reality we have. Choose Light , choose Good.
As the Bible reads, we were given free will and so our lives are ours to make of them what we will. Suffering is inevitable in life, but if you use that suffering to strengthen yourself spiritually and emotionally, even the worst situations can enrich your life. Having befriended people from all over the world in all socio-economical levels I can say that what I have observed is that it is mostly those of us in privileged positions (food several times a day, a nice house around us, even leisure time and unnecessary possessions) are the ones that see those with less as being in a horrible plight.
Yes, there are extremes where people are starving to death or don't have access to drinking water that need help from those who can give it, but most people in these poorer areas are happy simply to have enough food to stay alive and protection from the elements so they can enjoy life another day. Some people I have talked to can't even understand what the preoccupation with material wealth is, because it only adds unnecessary stress to one's life and it's much more than anyone needs. In other words, every situation in life is what we make of it, and even the worst deprivations can be used to strengthen us if we so choose.
My question is clear. I did not say "forced us here" . I used the word "PERMITS.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
