Black ops for online play handsdown, apart from losing the host in some games and having to migrate hosts or change lobbys, getting into a good lobby can keep me on there for hours. Only downside being Aimbot players and people prestiging for their 10 millionth time that don't play in the prestige lobbys but prefer to pick on us lil ones. Campaign I would say definately modern warfare 2.
Somethin bout snipin enemys out of the snow, and gillie suits, definately gillie suits, big ups for that.
Call of Duty 2, when it came out Xbox 360 was new. It had a great online multiplayer system and a massive amount of maps. The campaign was also fantastic including the Normandy invasion, Stalingrad, and even the battle for North Africa. When it came out it really helped out Xbox 360.
Definatley my favorite one of the series.
Black Ops. And I'm not just saying this as a girl. My boyfriend loves the game.
Always online playing. The little car you drive and the killer dogs are amazing to watch. Plus you can save the game and watch it later with friends.
Call of Duty 4, the original Modern Warfare to me was the prime of call of duty on, PC at least. Had MW2 given us dedicated servers, it had potential. So hopefully MW3 will beat it out, I'm really hoping that it does.
I like to see games moving forward.
Back when a was a little girl and growing taller ok. I used to like those games much. Believe me they are all as strong.Lol.
Definitely Black ops for multiplayer. It's much more balanced than its predecessors. Plus leveling up is challenging for the hardcore fan but still simple enough for the novice. As far as campaign/solo play, though, you've got to got with COD4.
That has to be one of the most epic plots in video game lore. Haha, maybe I'll make a top 10 list of the top campaigns, but COD4's plot is definitely the best!
Honestly, my favorite Call of Duty game of all time was the very first. Call of Duty and it's expansion United Offensive. That was such a great game!
The newer games are not made for PC as they originally were, so I do not feel the love. They are made to be 1 - 2 year big time hits and then release a sequel with an extra gun or two (Yes, I am exaggerating, its a lot more). First call of duty : Second to least played, best in the series.
Also, I will not buy a computer game that is more than $50. Sadly it's all about the money nowadays.
My boyfriend was addicted to black ops and now he is stuck on the new golf masters game with tiger woods that just came out. It is like watching paint dry, I would rather watch black ops lol.
Black Ops because I like the customization and betting money side of it.
I like the Black Ops Multiplayer best of all. The new ability to play with bots helps players to practise with all the different guns and is great fun. I just wish the makers had also enabled players to also have Dominion and Capture the Flag etc on with the bots also.
I love all the Call of Duty games anyway but Modern Warfare 2 is much better on the Campaign than Black Ops and also has the special ops too that you can play solo or with a friend.
I love black ops because I realy did not like MW2 because even if you suck you could still beat someone doing something realy dumb like commando when you knife someone you turn into superman.
Modern Warfare. Set the bar for story telling, graphics, set pieces, and multiplayer back at the end of 2007. It seems that the newer games could not maintain that momentum, and visually they haven't aged well because they've used the same engine for the last 4 years. In MW2, I am constantly blown away by how amazing the character models look, but other times the textures are incredibly bland and lacking of detail, and the animations are jerky.
I run it maxed out at 1080p on my PC, around 70FPS, so it's not the medium, it's just the engine. On top of this, the story made the most sense in Modern Warfare- it seemed plausible, realistic. MW2 was all over the map (literally!
) with Captain Price nuking the US(?!?). The original Modern Warfare just had everything going for it.
My favorite Call of Duty game to date is Modern Warfare 2. (click link to be sent to my hub about upcoming MW3 which includes all 4 teaser trailers released 5/13/11: hubpages.com/hub/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Wa )I love the sniping on CoD6 better than any other game, though CoD4 (modern warfare) takes a close second place. Also, I believe that Infinity Ward is a much better, more capable game studio than Treyarch, who in my opinion botches games like World at War and Black Ops, despite having wonderful ideas like the monetary system and the ability to buy and be rewarded for contracts.
I cannot wait for MW3!
Modern Warfare 2 has it for me. I LOVED the single player campaign but I have to say that playing the first MW campaign plenty of times made the 2nd one amazing. CMON THE SOAP!
So far Black Ops since it's the only one I have played so far. Love playing online and already miss it since I don't have internet anymore. I might change my mind once I played the other versions soon, but for now it's Black Ops.
Personally, the best Call of Duty game would be the Modern Warfare series as a whole. The storyline is marvelous and compares to many big blockbuster movies in terms of action, drama, and all around storytelling. When playing the games, you find it hard not to be pulled into the story.
From F.N. G all the way to Endgame, the player is kept on the edge of their seat. Then they are left wanting more after the ending. Thankfully, there is more to come with Modern Warfare 3 in November.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
