You lack the mental strength and drive to become a doctor.
Of course not, welcome to the real world where sociopaths with tenure get to do anything they want. I'm sure if you were able to access this cretin's records you'd see sexual perversion, criminal activity and mental disorders. If they were actually trying to instill punctuality in their perspective future doctors then they have failed miserably.
Doctors are the worst people on Earth at seeing people who make an appointment with them on time. They have a superiority complex and it is getting worse because people have realized that doctors are just technicians hardly qualified enough to write a script for you. They no longer hold physicians up as Gods as they did in the past.
Doctors see the change in people's thinking towards them and their reaction is to make people wait even longer. On the island I live on, you will routinely wait 3-5 hours to see a Doctor for any reason. I had to experience this once.
After 4 hours of waiting to see a specialist about a pinched nerve in my neck, they finally ushered me in. I joyfully greeted the Dr. and thanked him for the cure. "what cure?", he said.
"Why just giving me a few hours to let it heal, thank you so much", I mused and threw a peso (the equivalent of 2 cents) on his table and left. The only way you can change their behavior is to hurt them in the pocketbook. I was probably the only paying customer he had that day..you have every right to miss class or work or anything you want.
You paid your tuition, the seat is yours whether you show up or not. This fool you have for a teacher reminds me of a story I once read about a crazed professor who delighted in embarrassing his students. He did this one too many times to an introverted male student.
The student was brilliant and was on his way to a wonderful career. But he couldn't stand the humiliation that the professor, who obviously envied the student, put him through every week. He quit the class.
This put him under the limit for "full time status" as a student and exposed him to the draft. (it was during the Vietnam War). Well, I'm sure you can guess what happened.
He ended up getting drafted and they buried him a year later. Eventually the professor was fired for his behavior and committed suicide.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
