NEVER ONCE does the bible even mention THE Great Tribulation. It simply says "Great Tribulation." chris. Let's suppose there will be (or there has been) a tribulation greater than all others.
Even so jesus said we ARE TO EXPECT tribulation as a normal part of life in this world. John 16:33. "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." so it makes no sense to fear such tribulation.
The Great Tribulation characterizes a period of time that climaxes with the great war of Armageddon. The Bible shows that the war of Armageddon will cleanse the earth of all corruption and wickedness and open the way for a righteous new system of things under the rule of God’s Messianic Kingdom. (Dan.
2:44) Because Isaiah 11:4, 5 (among other scriptures) show that God will protect the "righteous" and "faithful", Armageddon is not to be feared by people who love righteousness. It actually provides a basis for hope. Instead of being a frightening cataclysmic end, the Great Tribulation and Armageddon will signal a hopeful beginning for righteous people, who the Bible indicates will live forever on a paradise earth: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it." (Psalm 37:29).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
