Fellow Republicans: what is the yardstick that resulted in Michele Bachmann heralded as a viable candidate?

She is pretty barking at the moment, still having built up a resistance to Sarah Palin's brand of madness it might be a shock to the system that Michele Bachman is allowed out in public. The Republican party has become less a party of ideas and policies but more like a Cthulhu cult a religion of low taxes, blood, slime, darkness, fundamentalist religion, madness and tentacles. As they speak of big government with extreme descriptions given of its hideous appearance, its gargantuan size, and the abject terror that it evokes.

It will not be long before Michele Bachman is chanting chanting the phrase "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Reagan R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", as they sacrifice to the great old one Reagan. The whole Bachman Turnoff Under-drive run for presidency would be a new nadir in the ever decreasing Republican ranks as the competent politicians are further thinned out to be replaced with greater loons from the religious fundamentalist ranks.

The funniest(most insane) part of it all is that people like her becuase she is just a regular "hockey mom" type like Palin.....How does that make them well suited be President of a world superpower?..I don't know that is just why they say they like her.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
