E^(-0.15*3)=e^(-.45) So, what is the fraction of the sets that are still is service in 5 years? B. After how many years will the fraction still in service be 1/10?
So, we want this fraction to be at least 1/10. Therefore we want f(x) to be at least 1/10. Which means: e^(-.15x) >= 1/10 You need to solve this inequality.To solve this inequality you need to take Ln from both sides and then solve that for x.
When you take Ln from both sides you get: -.15 x >= Ln (1/10). Solve that for x and you are done! Hope this helps you.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
