1 Probably a technical institute since this is a fairly focused technical degree. It would be less likely that a university would offer such a degree without requiring a number of other classes in humanities, sciences, etc. That you may feel are not needed for your career goal.

2 Depends on what level you plan to work. If you are wanting to be the chief shoveler on a construction job, a trade school would probably do, or the school of Hard Knocks. If you want to know enough to be good at what you want to do, a technical institute should be good enough to eventually get you into a management position.

If you want to excel and expand in the construction business, go to a university that has a good reputation in your field of interest. And work summers in construction. They might have a co-op program.

3 Technical institutes and trade schools rate themselves very highly, but employers are sometimes more skeptical. An apprenticeship program would probably serve you better for being anything more respected than "another PIA college boy who doesn't know one end of a hammer from the other" if you combine that with a comunity college program that resulted in an associate's degree in management, that would probably serve you better than a tech school "construction management" degree.(and yes, if it matters, I have worked on projects managed by such "PIA college boys" and watched high quality crews leave for more respectable companies) to properly manage construction, you have to understand construction, and that is best done by experiencing construction.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
