Fox News was formed to be a right wing organization. They tried hard not to hire any reporters that would object to advocacy masquerading as news. In a previous incarnation, they had hired some serious reporters, but they wouldn't follow orders and quit.
This time - when forming Fox News - they did not make that mistake. Their employees were hired because they were willing to be part of a Conservative advocacy organization. We don't think of Conservatives as biased - they are Conservatives.
Fox is not biased. It's just an outlet for Conservative ideas, and it makes fun of Liberals and Democrats. I have never found any of the major networks, except for MSMNBC, to be especially liberal.
They seem weak and watered down. As Stewart said about mainstream media, "...their bias is towards sensationalism and laziness." That's why NPR is a great source of news.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
