1. I am 13 turning 14 soon, I'm about 5'2 and 45kg. Am I too short or overweight?
Well... I think you are okay 2. How many trainees are there in SM currently? 18 at the moment but 3 boys and 2 girls are in private audition process after picked at the global audition 2011 Korea so the number could possibly be increased in a few weeks time.
3. Approximately how long do you have to train each day? It depends on what you do.
You basically do singing and dancing but if you do other things such as learning a language or rapping- for an example then they give you another class. They don't really have a class for everything everyday but they spread it out during the week so, everyday, 2-4 hours including self training. Every two weeks time they post the training timetable on the notice bored for the trainees and the artists.
You can simly follow the timetable. Some trainees do extra self-training than required to get more attention from the company. 4.
If you become a trainee through global auditions, will you get to debut sooner than those who got picked through the weekly auditions? Because it seems to me that trainees who AREN'T Korean don't have to train for as long as the Korean trainees. (E.g.
Victoria and Amber from F(x) and Nichkhun from 2PM). I don't know about Nichkhun but in SM, yes! It is true!
There are many reasons but mainly because Internationals do requires more responsibilities and also do need a lot more financial investment than Korean trainees. So when SM makes contract with internationals they do it with whom has certain talents + looks that can be used in mainstream in no time. SM is Kosdaq registered company which means the company doesn't only belong to its boss Lee but also thousands of share holders.
The more investment means harder and longer time to get returns so they don't want to pick ones that requires longer time training. When a company like SM makes any decision, they choose the way it is very secured and profitable for it's artists and share holders. 4.
Does every K-pop idol get plastic surgery?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
