GMRS 136-174 MHz bandwidth: What's it For?

The 144 to 148MHz range is the 2m amateur radio band and the 420 to 450MHz range is the 70cm amateur radio band. A lot of base, mobile, and handheld radios are dual band radios. This means that they can transmit and receive on both the 2m and 70cm radio bands.

Not all radios are dual banders. There are a lot out there that are mono band or only cover one amateur radio band. You can get more information here http://www.arrl.org/what-is-amateur-radi...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
