Any Sony, Nikon or Canon SLR camera is good. SLR means single lense reflex and any electronic store can tell you what that is. If they try to sell you a camera of which you can't remove the lense, then they are lying to you.

Which one to get? Any one you choose. The Image quality is just as perfect whatever model you get.

For portraits, you should shoot with a lense that is at least 90mm. You camera should come with lenses, so make sure your lense is zoomed at 90mm or so.

An entry level dSLR would be ideal. I have the canon rebel t3 and I love it! You can get it for under $500 and it takes awesome photos for the price. It is easy to use, especially on auto.

Though I usually use it on manual, because I like to adjust my settings, auto is perfect if I am at a busy event and just want quick snapshots, or if a family member is taking pictures with it. Manual is probably the best way to learn, and it is pretty easy to adjust the settings on the camera. There are also other modes as well.

The camera has a nice design to it, and is relatively light for a dSLR camera. It is great for amateur photographers and I would definitely recommend it!

Don't buy an SLR or DSLR... they are expensive... get a bridge camera...

Same here...i recently bought a nikon coolpix L120 and I love it...it costs $250 but its always on sale so you should have no trouble getting a lower price...happy holidays! :).

If you are self taught, then I would hope your reading would let you know what a good camera and lens for portrait photography is (film SLR with 85mm lens, for example. Not the only one option but a handy one). There is no "best"; it depends on your preference (after all, some people still take portraits with large format cameras)."best" and "inexpensive" tend to be mutually exclusive in the camera world.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
