The Moss 500 and Rem 870 both have changable barrels and there are dozens of options. It would not be unusual in the next couple of months to see packages on sale that contain both defense/security barrels (18"-20") and a 26" or 28" hunting barrel. The optimal size of barrel you would use for recreational activities depends on the activity.
If your activity is shooing things with buckshot and slugs, then the defensive barrel is perfect. But if you are doing trap, skeet, duck hunting, or deer hunting then your optimal barrel will be different.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
