Google just recently changed the algorithm for SERP, (getting on the first pages of a search)?

User interaction is not part of the algorithm, as far as anyone knows. However things like bounce rate may be indirectly effected by this. User engagement is part of the algorithm, and has been for some time, think tweets, facebook updates, comments on page, etc.

I really hope this is not the protocol to attract readers and obtain a good rank. It should be based on original content and ability to write. Personally when there is a poll or survey I avoid the article.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
