Two things one was the break up of my first marriage, oh how I thought it was the end of the world and how sad I was, but now I can say its the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Yep if it was not for that, no good ex-husband of mine I would not be where I am today, I would still be unhappy and I would not have the wonderful husband and children that I have now. "i have never really thanked him for being a terrible husband.", but anyways, also I lost my job of 10 years because of company cut backs, didn't know what I was gona do, unemployment ended up paying me to go back to school, ended up with a much better paying job then I had before, one that I really liked, was close to home,weekends off with great benefits.

SO now when things go wrong I really don't stress to much, I just say something good, gots to come from this.

Right after the birth of our first child, it was discovered that someone had extorted a huge amount of money from my husband's employer, forcing the company to go out of business. It was startling, to say the least, and the shock was considerable. He was making a terrific wage, and we had the greatest medical benefits.To others, and initially to us, it seemed that we had been dealt a large blow.

However, my husband and I began to see it differently, once we had prayed and talked. We were living in an area we felt was unsafe to raise our daughter in, and had looked into moving to Oregon...but the fact that my hubby had such a good job and benefits kept us from making that decision, despite our desire. When he found out that he was going to be laid off, we started putting things into motion to make a move.

My family lived in Oregon, and we both had flexible job offers immediately, so everything fell into place so fast that before we knew it, our move was complete! We've been here in a relatively small, quiet town ever since, and have been able to raise our brood of four surrounded by beloved family and friends. I am so very thankful that a door was opened for us, although I am sorry that it had to come about by someone else doing something so wrong.

Short answer... yes Parents divorced. While it was horrible at the time I was a very strong willed child and my father is a very strong willed person too... apt to give answers like "because I say so" and try to have a heavy hand in discipline (not physical, just clamping down on the rules). Because I lived with my mother I was able to get away with a lot more than I would have had my parents still been married.

I never got into any trouble and because my mother wasn't a strong disciplinarian I didn't rebel all that hard. Had my father been there I suspect I would have run away or become a drunk or drug addict or something else... like a ball bounced against a wall vs a ball bounced against a curtain. One flies much further than the other..

I got MS and colloidal silver poisoning, low thyroid with too low a dose of thyroid medicine, clotting disorder... celiac disease so that I could not eat much etc etc. Health issues that almost killed me. I almost died. God saved me by his grace.

It made me a better person and now I understand how old people think, I know what is it like to be autistic, ADHD, Alzheimer's, low thyroid,MS,panic attacks, depression, anxiety, suicidal etc. I know what these people are going through. I have had to learn to forgive, love, have better relationships, grow up, be patient, love my self, others and God, rely on God. I had to change my whole life to survive and it was for the better.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
