Has anyone ever actually gotten any money from a contest on Hub Pages?

Yes, with every contest comes a fair share of winners. I was lucky to win a few times during the Money Grows on Hubs Contest. I was also extra lucky to win the Grand Prize for that contest.

You can see past contest winners on the contest page and also during the current contest winners are posted in the forums also by Simone.

Nope got nominated for two hubnuggets though (you can still vote for one of them).

Point is that winning a contest is probably my hubpage goal...considering my ad program earnings are about enough to pay for the electricity powering my laptop.

Yes I won $50 March 2010. It felt darn good to as I was a newbie at the time.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
