I speak from experience...my brother died due to an epileptic seizure. There was never a reason determined as to why he had them.
2 Could be yet another side effect of menopause - mine were. The neurologist put me on lamictal until I was completely done with that stage of life, then we weaned me off of it. Haven't had any trouble since.
They are known as "catamenial seizures" and are evidently pretty common. CAT scan was normal, EEG was normal, everything was normal. The diagnosis came after some pretty exhaustive questioning.As to how I felt after a seizure: awful.
All muscles sore from being tensed up, tired beyond belief, for awhile I had trouble spelling things, my handwriting was atrocious...but it's all better now. And I don't mind this change-of-life thing, now that the changing part is over! Good luck!

Thank you everyone for your information and concern. As far as I know, so far they don't know what caused the seizure.
The majority of people don't need the medication and they have side effects. Medications for a while. Following your head injury, it's unlikely that you will start off with that medication.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
