Yes I have ordered avocados from Paradise Grove in the past and found them to be excellent in quality. However I do not order from them anymore as I find that their cost is on the high side. I use freshavocados.com/" rel="nofollow">freshavocados.com/ as my supplier.
The quality of their fruit is every bit as good as Paradise (both producers are located in the same region of california and produce the same varity of avocados, Hass) plus you get a much better deal for your money with freshavocados.com. Paradise advertises a Large Box (8 avocados) for $35.00 which includes shipping. Fresh Avocados sells a box of 12 avocados for $24.00 minus shipping.
The shipping cost for my area (missouri) works out to be $12.95 which makes the cost of a box of 12 avocados $36.95 delivered to my door within 2 to 3 busines days. So just do the math, $35.00 for 8 avocados or $36.95 for 12. Nothing against Paradise, their fruit is excellent, but the fruit from Fresh Avocados is just as fine.
Are they worth paying more for? Absolutely! Those little dried up and bruised avocados that you see at the local grocery stores are typically mexican grown and were machine picked way before they reach maturity leaving much to be desired in quality.
Fresh Avocados and Paradise both hand pick their fruit at the peak of their maturity which more then makes up for the additional cost...there just isn't any comparison between a hand picked mature avocado and a machine picked half grown avocado that has been bruised, bounced and tossed around from truck to truck on its long trip to the produce section of your local grocerer where it sits for a week or two getting squeezed and mishandled by every shopper passing by making it an ugly thing. I grew up in the heart of avocado country in southern California and I do know what the finest select avocado should be. You won't be dissappointed if you spend the extra and order from either of these producers.
You will also find, if you choose to become a regular customer, that they still respect their customers and will go that extra mile to please. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9yg47lp2kQ Sources: Personal Experience freshavocados.com/" rel="nofollow">freshavocados.com/ http://paradisegroveavocados.com.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
