Similar questions: buy MacBook Air mobility argument worth paying speed.
Not if it's your only computer I’ve just purchased a MacBook Air, and I love it. But I would never survive with this as my only computer. I bought it because I wanted a laptop that was so light that I could toss it in my bag and have it with me wherever I go and whenever I travel, without having to think, "Do I really want to be bothered by carrying this big delicate laptop around?"
And the MacBook Air fills that role brilliantly. It isn’t very fast and it isn’t a good machine for getting serious work done, but it’s great for on the road. In short, the mobility argument is really the only one that the MacBook Air has going for it..
The Macbook Air should be a second or third laptop. I would only recommend buying the Air if you already have 1 or 2 other laptops (i.e. A Macbook Pro and a Macbook).
The air is one of those sit-down-in-front-of-the-TV laptops that doesn't weigh much in your lap you just want to do some casual internet browsing. Sure I'd love to have a Macbook Air, but for the price, you could get a Macbook Pro for only a little more. Sources: twit.Tv .

I want to know if the cost is definitely worth it.
