Has anyone noticed how Oriental folks like to watch movies?

LOL Everytime I see one that is stationary they have that lap top and are watching a movie..For instance in our old town there is a family we know that have a Chinese restuarant and they are all the time watchin a Bruce Lee movie! Funny, I'm not Oriental... but I have the same problem....how fascinating! .

Part of it can be the culture I lived in hong kong in the 70's abd I perriodically go back to see friends. The movies are huge there, much larger than anything else. One of the theatres we used to go to had like 3 or 4 balconies and held an couple of thousand people ( I heard 5000 but I am not sure of that figure) but the roar of laughter was absolutely amazing.

And the movies are much cheaper to go to there than here in the us. It was a family tradition that the whole family went to the movies. As a foreigner there, it was fun to watch a movie (all were subtitled in chinese) and hear the faint (for that large theatre) laughs of the people who understood english followed in a second with huge thunderous laughter from the rest of the audience Sources: my opinion .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
