I haven't stayed there, but the reviews are good It sounds like a great place to stay, especially for chocolate lovers, but I can't claim to have stayed there myself. Here's some info and reviews that might be helpful, though:Hotel Hershey100 Hotel RdHershey, PA 17033Phone: (717) 533-2171Fax: (717) 520-5577This place is worth stopping into for the wonderful lunch buffet. The day I was there they had wonderful pork and seafood entrees, with cold salad and pasta items.
The real treat is the dessert table, with several chocolate tarts, peanut butter pie and dense chocolate cakes. It's an excellent value at $18, in an elegant dining room which looks out on a 180 degree view of the back gardens. This is not a golf course, so ignore the ratings I put below.
Pros: Reasonably priced, Excellent food, Easy parking harrisburg.citysearch.com/profile/874198... The best place to stay in Hershey - Feb 6, 07 Posted by travelswithtwins, 3 reviews, a 47 year old man with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure This is not a true luxury hotel (though my wife gave the spa a B+), but it's miles ahead of the area competition in terms of service, ambience, and clientele. The rooms are clean & well-furnished, if smallish. The restaurants are decent.
The bar is an excellent refuge for adults (a necessity after a day at the park). The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the shuttle to the park is the way to go. The indoor pool was OK with poolside light dining.Do not confuse with the Hershey Lodge, which is just a very large motel; it's not a flophouse, but it's definitely a major step down.
Bonus tips for parents: Kids love the carp pools behind the hotel. Hershey Gardens is a short walk from the hotel, and kids 3-7 or so will have almost as much fun there as they did in the park, in much less time. I am very likely to return to the The Hotel Hershey.
I would definitely recommend it to friends. ******************************************** Hotel Review by a traveler - Nov 4, 06 64 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure There is nothing I dislike about this hotel. I have stayed there a few times and I have never been disappointed.
The service is excellent, the guest rooms and the public rooms are clean and well appointed. It is efficiently run. This hotel made me feel entertained: I was registered over the Thanksgiving weekend.
There was a tree lighting ceremony with refreshments and holiday decorations in the main room. I liked the holiday decoration, the rides at Hershey Park and the carolers. I am very likely to return to the The Hotel Hershey.
I would definitely recommend it to friends. http://www.travelpost.com/hotels/The_Hotel_Hershey/h38053********************************************Luxury at your finger-tipsBy An Orbitz reviewer Staying at the Hotel Hershey is truly a luxurius experience, from the doorman opening the car door, asking about our trip and directing us to the front desk for check-in-- to the endless amenities. The hotel has two lobbies, one on a lower level for the check in that includes several gift shops -- a coffe shop with home made snacks and breakfast foods-- and another lobby upstairs that leads to meeting rooms, guest rooms and the dining rooms.
If you stay at the hotel, the shuttle takes you to the park, the gardens and a private entrance to Hershey Park! The rooms are fabulous- triple sheeted pillow-top beds, marble and granite countertops, turn down service with hershey kisses and a CD player that the house keepers turn on as part of the evening service. The amenities bar inside the room is filled with gourmet goodies and bottled water.
The Circular Dinning room is five stars and the Fountain cafe has WONDERFUL food. The Spa at the Hotel Hershey is beyond luxury-- fire places, leather tufted lounges--it is the "ultimate Spa" I can't wait to go back! http://travel.yahoo.com/p-reviews-993577-prod-hotel-action-read-ratings_and_reviews-i;_ylt=AnAWefFeMLdrLJHUmWnGiKPiphQB#71There are a few other user reviews at the above links, and there are a couple of longer reviews at the links below which you should check out and which delve a little more into the treats in store for you (one of them suggests you'll get special service if you're on your honeymoon):http://www.travel-travel-travel.com/spas/hershey/index.htmhttp://travel.yahoo.com/p-reviews-993577-prod-hotel-action-read-ratings_and_reviews-i;_ylt=AincfoWm3gyOCeDUkBxUEC_iphQB#72There are a few complaints, too, but for the most part it sounds like a great place to stay.
I wish I'd stayed there myself and could give you my firsthand account, but I hope the above still proves useful. Sources: http://harrisburg.citysearch.com/profile/8741983/hershey_pa/hotel_hershey.html .
We did, and our family LOVED it! And we aren't usually repeat visitors to any vacation destination, but we are going back to Hershey and the Hotel Hershey. It definitely was worth the extra money, being in the Hershey atmosphere, and you get free chocolate every day too!(That was the selling point for the kids!).
I found it to be very clean, the people were very nice and all around it was a great experience. We don't get out often, so for me to go on like this tells you it was really good. Have fun!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
