Has anyone tried those upside down tomato planters? do they work?

I made some last year out of 5 gallon buckets and it worked much better for the smaller varieties of tomatoes than the larger. My plant did still try to grow up towards the sunlight and so ended up being sort of U shaped, which did not work well with the larger fruit but wasn't a problem with the smaller varieties. I don't know if starting from seeds would work, I started with a seedling, but the basic idea is to cut a hole in the bucket, like the bottom with wet newspaper so the dirt doesn't fall out of the hole and then fit your plant in from the bottom.

Then the trick is making sure it gets enough light since it's always under the bucket, but I really didn't have any problems with it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
