Has anyone went on a job interview and never got interview by the manger I know beggers cannot be choosy, but when I went on a job interview at a fast -food place at 2 p. M I arrived early fill out the job application and took their test and waited from 2:00 to 2:45 for the manager to interview me Never did I called my job coach to informed her that I never was interviewed and when I turned in the test Iwas told by one of the employees that she left and won't be back for the rest of the day and the they asked me if she could called me. Of course I told them yes she could But I feel like I wasted my time and my job coach as well I know if I was manger I would interview my future employee not run out on them.

That's all part of job hunting. I wouldn't be too offended. Managers have loads of responsibility that can interupt a scheduled interview.

Good manners on their part dictates that he or she should have taken a brief moment with you to explain that your interview will have to be rescheduled. But it seems most people do not have good manners anymore. Too bad parents don't teach their children good manners when their young like all parents did at one time.

Just go to a fast food and you'll see what I mean.

1 You don't know why the manager had to leave. For all you know she was ill or there was a family emergency. Since, as you say, beggars can't be chooosers, you should have gracefully said that the manager could indeed call you or that you could reschedule at the manager's convenience and made sure to leave your phone number.

BTW, being a manager in a fast food restaurant isn't exactly a high level job so you don't always find good communications skills or management abilities in a fast food manager. But if you want to work there you need to be able to cope with their management style.

3 Good for you. If you projected a decent attitude at the time perhaps the manager will call and reschedule.

4 Some other ideas I always did if I was looking for a job would be to make sure I thanked the manager or interviewer for the opportunity to apply for the job and thank them for their time. I would also immediately go home and hand-write and mail a "Thank You" note basically saying the same thing and mentioning the job I had applied for again and that I was looking forward to hearing from (the person who interviewed me) very soon. That lets them know you don't want just ANY job...you want THAT job and it comes off looking good to a manager, even if it's a fast-food job or something like that.It also shows responsibility and initiative and in today's society with people switching jobs every few weeks or months, corporations or companies are needing people to find people they can train and depend on to be there for the job long-term.

Yes, it may seem like some of the fast-food industry jobs are just a dime a dozen, so to speak, but as an upper level executive, I can tell you from first-hand experience that I look for people who go out of their way to make me believe they want this job and only this job and aren't just going from store to store or place to place filling out a ton of applications just to get any job. I want loyalty in my employees and in return, they will get the same from me. Hope that helps and good luck with your job search!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
