Has askville made it possible to give quest coins to another askvillian?

I am thinking of getting off of askville because I don't have a lot of time to devote to it, and the highly subjective moods of some askvillians makes it hard to answer some questions because you may get slammed for an opinion that is not mainstream. Anyway, I thought I saw that they were planning on making it so you could give coins to others. I figured I would disperse my coins among some of my favorite answerers before I moved from the village, but can't find the article or blog where this was talked about.

Nope! They have not yet done this. I don't know the exact details of how this might work and what the implementation schedule looks like, but I'd imagine it would have to be done very carefully to consider the gaming of coins issue (especially when you get coins for logging in).

I also find that most of amazon's stuff doesn't tend to give a schedule of upcoming things until they're actually released....but I don't have enough time to go through the blog to verify that assumption. I think in time askville will be ablet o buff out the people that are gamming(voting low on people so they can get the best rating) hang in there and stay with us we all get bad ratings. I said in another post I do not rally care what people think, I say whats on my mind and how I feel about things everyone is entitled to their own opinion and yet I do not think people should rate opions low becsue they think the oppisit way then the other person.

I dont' think so... I have never heard of being able to dole out your Quest coins to anyone else...it's very generous for you to want to do that, but I don't think it's possible! It would kind of take from the "game" aspect of Askville, if we could get free coins like that from each other, as part of the fun is to earn them by being smart and writing well. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
