George Bush et al have committed treason Please, go back and read your Constitution of the United States. This Administration has formed a Federalist Rulership. He has destroyed the Constitutional Government of our Founding Fathers and Mothers (read Abigail Adams if you doubt we had Mothers) It is not that the Democrats do not have options but the Republicans have put up insurmountable procedural rules in the way of any forward motion. My only hope is that whem Senator Clinton becomes President Clinton she will enter the International Criminal Court Treaty and then Bush,Cheney,Gonzales,Rumsfeld,Wu and others can be tried in the World Court for crimes against humanity and war profiteering.

God have mercy on their souls.

Absolutely The "preserve, protect, and defend" clause is qualified by "to the best of my ability". I think he's done a lousy job, especially on the "preserve" notion, but I really do think that was the best of his ability. I never thought his ability was all that much, but if that's what 51% of America wants, then that's what 100% of America gets.

Has he executed the office faithfully? I actually believe the answer is yes. I disagree with many of his goals and nearly all of his methods, but I think he's executed that terrible job with as much faith as it can possibly be done.

Strictly speaking it may not be possible to do that job faithfully. When you're torn between the people who voted for you, the people who DIDN'T vote for you, the people to whom you have to delegate jobs, a Congress which cannot help but send mixed signals, international enemies, international allies... the job is simply not possible. "Faith" is all one has to depend on, to do the job hewing to your understanding of the spirit in which it was intended.

I do not like the job that he has done. I feel that he has led the country as far to the right as he could get away with under Senate rules requiring 60% agreement on many issues, despite ekeing out the barest of majorities in two elections (and a nonexistent one in one election. ) I think that he has gone far, far beyond, "It depends on the what the definition of 'is' is" in trying to lawyer his way out of clear violations of the law and the Constitution.

I think that he lied and exaggerated out way into a war that will cost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars before it was over. But I think he did all that with the best of intentions. I do not believe he was merely trying to get money for his oil buddies.

I believe he genuinely felt Saddam Hussein was a threat. I think he is doing what he feels is the best way to prevent another terrorist attack on the United States. I think he has knowingly violated the spirit of the laws, and taken advantage of the fact that it's too hard to hold him to the letter.

I think he's wrong, and should know he's wrong, but I don't think he's violated his oath. If he has been terrible for the country (and that's the sort of thing historians will have to debate) then it's on the heads of those who elected him as much as himself, because he's done their will.

Of course not; he has failed to uphold the constitution and he should have been impeached long ago.

1 My opinion is that he has failed miserably. The particularly sad thing about this is that I don't think he knows what the words really mean. I am not making a joke here.

I truly believe the man thinks he was ordained by God to run the country, more like a King than a President. He may be a nice guy, but he should have never been president.

2 To say he's failed miserably is probably the understatement of the year. He's not intelligent enough to understand the meaning of the words of the oath of office. S primary focus has been on "nation-building" and forcing an American style democracy on countries that aren't ready for it or want it.

He's been a disgrace to the office of President.

Would you vote for George W. Bush again if you could?

Is George W. Bush really the worst President ever?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
