Has Scientists Ever Proven The Existent Of Ghosts Or Any Paranormal Activity?

Science is based on having verifiable objective evidence and hence ghosts and paranormal activities are beyond the scope of science.............having tried to give a very civilized argument I would like to add that ghosts most probably don't exist and neither do paranormal activities.

In response to Harlan's,It's true that you should maintain a healthy amount of skepticism. But there are people who are so closed off that even if I were to present a full bodied apparition that was capable of shaking their hands, they would shrug and say, "just an illusion.

Now a days paranormal investigations are booming and the reason is that many scientific instruments like EVP, thermal cameras etc can check out the changes that can be felt due to the presence of ghosts or demons..... so these things force scientists to believe them as the evidences are right infront of them but still in this topic science and religious believes are opposite to each other in many places....

I do not believe that science can prove, or disprove, the paranormal. Something like this is more about personal proof than anything else. What I mean is that if you have a personal experience (or if someone very close to you whom you trust and believe does) then you will believe but if not then it is difficult.

I absolutely believe because of my experiences over the years but I would not be able to prove any of it to others.

Specifically, no... but there are scientific theories out there that surely point to a possibility of proving that spirits exist. The majority of Theoretical Physicists, particularly Stephens Hawkings believe in something called String Theory or M-Theory. These two theories suggest that we live in a 10 or 11-dimensional world.

Parts of these theories can be proven mathematically, and the rest will most likely be proven within the next 50-80 years! The human brain can only see in 3 dimensions (length, width, and depth). However, everyone knows that there are actually 4 (the 4th being time).

Einstein proved that we live in 4 dimensions (called Relativity) eighty years ago, however it’s just now being widely accepted and taught in schools. 80 years later! So just think about the possibilities!

We only have proven four… but imagine what just one or two more might look like, let alone eleven! It was Einstein who said that we only use around 10% of our brains. This would explain why the majority of humans cannot see ghosts.

They can’t see into these “other” dimensions because they’re not using the part of their brains that allow them to. Spirits live on different dimensions or planes of existence. Look at it like this… our bodies aren’t who define us.

They are just our vessels. Think of the brain (or soul) like the pilot and our bodies are just the planes we move around in. If we were able to use 100% of our brain, I'd bet that we definitely wouldn't need our bodies to exist.

The same goes for spirits and ghosts. They can live and move around freely because they exist in a different dimension. Which I'm assuming, is where we go when our bodies die (or when the engine shuts down)!

:)Get it?

I don't believe in ghosts defined as the lingering presence of someone who has died. Makanana said, "A lot of people fail to experience a lot of things because they are not opened minded. "I am not very open minded either, but I tend to investigate things. My experience has been that the more open-minded someone is, the easier it is for someone to sell them a line of BS.

Yes science has proved the existence of paranormal activity. No it hasn't proven ghosts exists. By definition paranormal means beyond normal, so anything that can't be explained by normal science becomes paranormal.

Universities around the world have studied paranormal activities for many years. Some of the best are right here in the United States. Billions of $ have been invested by the government on secret projects looking into military applications for paranormal science.

Don't expect them to do any research on the existence of Angels or Demons though. Religion is taboo in our government, but apparently ghosts hunting isn't.

Daniel Home was a medium whose contacts with spirits is beyond question and has been verified as strongly as possible by many scientists. He never worked undercover and insisted that he be tested until full light conditions. Not a single instance of fraud was ever detected.

He was also rare in that he said that he did not summon the spirits but they summoned him to do their bidding. There are also numerous accounts where courts - including modern courts in the US - have determined that ghosts exist. I've written about many of them in my various books.

I say the answer would be no to both your question and mine. What I can tell you is that some known historical scientist have pondered on the things they do not understand and could never find logical reasons or scientific reasons to prove it or disprove it.It simply IS. One of the names I can mention here is Einstein.

Unfortunately science is really a state of mind. A lot of people fail to experience a lot of things because they are not opened minded. Some things are just there and until we believe that the universe has so many things we cant see with our eyes,we may never see them.

Yes they proven it many times, it just hasn't been recognized by the greater scientific community or world societies.

Depends on what your definition of "proven" is. In photos, in videos, in data printed from paranormal detections, ghosts, spritis, 'presences', have all been recorded. Whether definitive science acclaims that as proven, one can guarentee that Paranormal Activity has never been Disproved.

hubpages.com/hub/Paranormal-VisionsI do not believe that anyone has to prove any paranormal. It is up to the individual as to what they experience and what they believe. Follow my link and read what happened to me.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
