Oh I've had similar experiences with blenders. That's why I changed over to those stick type hand held blenders. What an improvement.

But I couldn't live without my old Cuisinart food processor.

I have had MANY inanimate objects, whether in the kitchen or not, plot insidiously against me. Tables and other furniture jumps out at me, giving me terrible thigh bruises. Inanimate objects also hide, sometimes they reappear and sometimes they don't.

You better sleep with one eye open. And maybe lock your bedroom door! Food processors are notorious for inciting other appliances to rebel....

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
