I camped in Galicia before and would definitely recommend it. I don't know if you can camp for free. We stayed at a campsite and it worked out fairly cheap .
We started at santiago de compestella and worked our way down to the portugese border. I recommend checking out the Cíes Islands off Vigo.
I have been to Spain , Actually Ibiza spain. I madw a hub about it . hubpages.com/hub/island-of-ibiza-spain.
Will be going to madrid this years for the world youth day.
I lived in Andalucia for 3 weeks in a beautiful little village called Arroyo de la Miel, nearby but far enough away was the tourist areas of Torremoulinos, Fuengirola & Benalmadena, Malaga that serves as the local airport is only 30 minutes away by train. I also did 2 stints of 4 years on Ibiza within the Belearic Islands, the first 4 years living just outside San Antonio & the second time living quietly on the other side of the island in a quaint little town called Santa Eulalia. I also did 2 seasons in both Tenerife & Gran Canaria within the Canary Islands but I wasn't a fan, far too tatty & a far too far advanced touist trap for mainly British, German & Scandinavian tourists & is awash with timeshare touts - not my idea of fun.
I stayed in Barcelona for a week. It was amazing! I highly recommend it.
Barcelona is a very big, spread out city. It's best to decide what you want to get from the trip and then research the different areas of the city to find out where you should stay. I stayed in the Las Ramblas district.
Here is a great website to help you out, barcelona.com/barcelona_city_guide.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
