Not me , but a friend of mine got plastic surgery , new nose ,new lips, jaw and cheeks implants, He could not identify himself with his new image, and he told me it was like staring at a stranger.
Nope always same old me. Unless I dye my hair but it is still me.
Some people have a condition where they can not recognize faces, even the faces of friends they have had for years. Very few people are known to have this condition but with more publications on the condition, more and more people are coming out and realizing that they have it.
Sure, I've looked into the mirror before and "forgotten" that it was me...it usually only happens when I'm under enormous stress or severe depression. I think it's natural to get the feeling a few times. If you start experiencing it frequently though, then something might be wrong.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
