Have you ever liked a live version of a song better than the studio version?

I really liked that Blancmange performance. Van Morrison - "Caravan" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44wDwMQVq... This is my favorite live performance of all time. He just sings it with such spirit and it has a lot more energy than the studio version.

Not to mention the fact that The Band is backing him. My favorite part is when the horns come in at the end.

BQ: I think there's more energy in the Live And Dangerous version and that always helps. I think the chorus in the live version sounds a lot better too.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
