That might actually be untrue. If you look back on history, women were, for the majority of the time, treated as property. As for the rough and tough guys, they were the most powerful, therefore they got the "pick" of the pack.
Today, women tend to have a choice in the matter. Excluding arranged marriages and etc. So they pick who they want to be with. So, it might not be that women have changed as much as our rights and upbringing. And if they did prefer them, it might have been because they needed protection, now we can go out and buy pepper spray.
I heard this on the radio the other day so consider the source, just a conjecture, but according the this radio report women prefer more feminized males because of birth control pills. The theory is that a woman on birth control pills does not ovulate so she is not looking for the rough, tough guy. Why would a woman look for the rough and tough guy anyway?
Biologically speaking, the chances of conceiving and bearing a strong healthy child would be better with the rough, tough and ever-fighting guy. The whole thing is hormonally driven and predicated on survival.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
