We have control over what we do in response and we should focus on what we can control. "Think a Second Time", by Dennis Prager A series of essays on wide variety of topics. No matter where you stand on the issues, he lays out a reasonable defense of his beliefs.

Great book to exercise the gray matter up stairs and to provoke meaningful thought.
