Have you ever talked your way out of a speeding ticket? What did you say to the officer?

It's hard to say. I've been stopped by traffic cops and not gotten a ticket. I'm not sure though that he ever intended to give me a ticket.

Once I got stopped by a hywy patrolman for speeding when I went past him. He didn't believe that I would do that type of thing delibertly. I assured him I was watching my speedometer carefuly and I was not over the speed limit.

We talked a little while. I told him that I had just replaced the tires with some new and larger ones. He decided that that could have thrown my speedometer off and let me go.

I guess tht qualifies. My wife never got a ticket because she would always cry if she got stopped. That's not talking the cop out of it though.

It wasn't really that I talked my way out of it as much as the cop realizing that I wasn't really in the wrong. I was driving on a 4 lane road and the car next to me couldn't stay in their lane and kept drifting over. So, I sped up to pass them.

There was a cop behind me, who pulled me over for speeding. Fortunately, the same car I was trying to get around almost hit the cop, so when I pointed this out, he gave me a warning...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
