You mean permanent, not "full time" -- full or part time have to do with hours per week. Temp is opposed to permanent. Anyway, worried?
What is there to be WORRIED about? Anyway, of course they go through a process of interviewing people -- that's fairly common. You should apply.
It would be stupid not to. Even IF they hire someone else, there's no harm in applying -- and if you don't apply, your chance of getting the perm gig is ZERO. Although sometimes they will just hire the temp, they may have policies where they have to go through the process of considering others for the spot -- or maybe there is more than one position available.
There is nothing at all to WORRY about, as there is no downside at all to this. If you don't get it, you're no worse off. And there's a good chance you'll get it, if they're encouraging you to apply.
You need to let the temp agency know, too. The company has to sort of buy you off from them -- the temp agency gets money for having put the two of you together. Way to go!
It's not only that they consider you a good worker, but obviously they don't also consider you a problem in any way. If you caused conflicts and problems, they wouldn't be wanting you to apply. Go for it.
If you've been there for a month and they like you, they will say something and encourage you to apply. If they didn't and just needed "the body", you wouldn't be notified. The "Temp to Hire" process is a "Is it a good fit?" period and you seem to have passed it.
I went through this years ago and was a permanent employee at the company for many years. Both sides have to fit together to really make it work.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
