My dreams have changed so much over the years. Blues singer, teacher, architect, animator... life has taken me in so many different directions and I have accomplished nether of them. But I accomplish little dreams every now and then (right now I'm in the process of building my first major wood working project, by myself.
Knowing how to create things with wood has always been one too). I think my 'dream' now is to be happy in life. :)Did you follow your childhood dream?
I had many dreams...teacher, writer, counselor, missionary, singer, travel, architect, designer, etc. Many aspects of these dreams have come true; some as a volunteer, some in work, some as a hobby. I recently got married (which was a secret dream) and now my dreams are shifting and changing in focus but still are at the root: creativity within structure. There is a lot of room for exploration left!
I am with MegMars on this one. For a little while I wanted to be MLB pitcher and then reality set in. For a long time I wanted to be an architect, but life took me in a different direction.
For more time, I wanted to be a history high school teacher and I haven't done this yet, but I have plans to someday do this as my job in later in life. Have a great day :).
Well I wanted to be president of the USA, because back then, it simply didn't seem like an option coming up too soon... Now I think it would just be too much pressure!
I also had several childhood dreams,,, including, police officer, proffesional singer and dancer, owner of my very own dance studio.... I sang and danced proffesionally for awhile, it wasn't all that I thought it would be,,,, I went through the police academy, again, it wasn't what I had hoped for.... I still don't own my own dance studio.... But, I am happy to say that my biggest childhood dream was to become a mom and to find a great husband,,,, and so far this has been my greatest acheivment in life... I couldn't be happier, who knows, once my babies are bigger I might be able to open my dance studio!
I wanted to be everything when I was little. Haven't become any of those dreams, but I'm on my way to fulfilling one of my teenage dreams. Life is so full of dreams, and as long as we persure at least a few of em, I'd say we did a good job!
A Pilot, a teacher, a scientist, a doctor, a successful businessman - Oh! I really wanted to become all of them in my childhood. But sometimes life takes you on another path and now I am very happy being a freelance writer, wring various hubs on Hubpages and other article sites.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
