To answer your So Cal question, dear , temperatures here can vary, ESPECIALLY in December. As noted, we have unusually cold temperatures right now--the bank clock/thermometer said 29 degrees F. This morning while I was out on my P.T.I was pretty much cold the entire time, with only a few moments where my fingers felt warm.My feet almost went numb.

However, that is Claremont/La Verne/Pomona where Walt Disney thought about putting Disneyland, but did not exactly because we get those greater temperature swings.
