Have you used Squarespace for blogging? How did you like it?

I tried Squarespace and I do like the AJAX method of creating a website. It is very 'drag and drop'. You are able to make changes to your blog on the fly and it truly is a pleasurable experience.

However, I find it limiting to users that do not have advanced knowledge and thus you are stuck with the limited templates that are offered etc. Personally I use Wordpress for my blog 2s2d.net because I have a range of options for themes, plug-ins, etc....more control. Wordpress.Org is a good starting point.... Also, if you want an easier wordpress blog, they do offer a free one at wordpress.com.

I am trying out now. My observations: I was impressed by the initial website and the example websites. I like the system of creating/editing website.

Easy to use. I like the minimal design templates created by Stephen Parker, Thyler Thompson. However not so much or not at all by Kristin Heide, Ryan Geiger, Josh Kill, Everyone Knows, Squarespace Inc.(the majority) To me it seems that example websites use different designs, that are not provided in the trial version.

And some of them look much better than something I could create using the trial version. I need a website right now, but my final decision: only a few high quality designs in the trial version, so I wouldn't buy the service.

I created my entire website on square space and I am very happy with it. I love the look, all the drag and drop features and the ability to track all my traffic on the site. It tells me who is visiting and where those users are referred from.

I have a blog on my website. It is so easy to use and I have gotten a ton of great feedback from viewers since I started in June. Here is the link if you wanted to see what a website looks like on squarespace. My blog is within my site.

And it is really cheap too so I am happy with that. I know lots of people who have spent tons of money to start up a webpage and mine was super cheap and I had my site up in a week. doctor.heatherhardison.com.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
