Help! I moved all my music from my C: Drive to my new external HD, now iTunes won't play my music! How do I fix this?

Now there are exclamation marks beside all the songs and when I click on the song to play it, a notice comes up, "The song "Name of Song" could not be used because the orginal file could not be found. Would you like to locate it? ".

I say yes, I locate the song file on new external HD, and then it plays. But this process would take hours since I have over 2700 songs. Please Help!

Reload your whole library iTunes is basically just confused and looking in the place it used to for the files. I would say the easiest way to fix it is to clear your entire iTunes library. The re-import it from the new location.So, highlight and delete all the songs with!

Next to them. Then go up and file->import folder and tell it to search the entire external hard drive for songs.It might take it a while depending on how many songs you have but I think that is much easier than going through one by one.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
