I am 5"5 and at 156. For me I am overweight and my goal weight is 135. Heres my small steps that have seemed to help some.

No miracles but just a little help! I go to bed earlier because if I stay up to to late I will munch. Don't eat past 6pm.

If you do, something like a carrot or apple. When eating instead of usiing a adult size dinner plate, use a childs for smaller portions. Water drink lots and lots of water all day.

Stay away from sugars the best you can. Also stay away from whites like in pasta, potatoes and breads. Switch over to wheats.

Take a vitamin called flax seed oil before meals. It sends signals to your brain saying your full and have the will power to push your plate away and leave the table. In meats... if it has 4 legs like cow and pig only consume 2 servings a week.

If it has 2 legs like chicken only consume 3 servings a week. If it has no legs like fish only consume 4 servings a week. Less meat in your body the easier to detox your body of waste.

More greens, vegatables, fruits and nuts the better. Your supposed to take it least 10 thousand steps a day to maintain a good heart rate to help keep in shape. Find a step... step up then step down for exactly 10 minutes and at a moderate speed should finish around 900 or so steps pending how fast you go at the end of 10 minutes.

Do this multiple times a day if your unable to go out walking. I think your goal weight of what you have set is fine. It has a lot to do with your body type ( build) hope this helps some.

Good luck... I know once you meet your goal you will feel so much better and looking better i'm sure is just brownie points to put a smile on your face! Also eat more during the day, like 6 to 8 times instead of the normal three meals a day. Small things like a apple or bananna.. small things to always keep your energy up!

First off you need a plan, STOP eating CANDY, SODA, SUGAR, SWEETS.... If you must have any have it in a little bit. Second off drink water and only water or green tea ( enhances metabolism) Exercise a few days a week, and try to cut back on red meats, and load up on more veggies/fruits and try a multivitamin. To lose weight you need a lifestyle change.... it is not a easy task and yes that will take you a year or two unless you do a extreme (unhealthy) So you can plan to lose at least 1 lb a week (if you do it appropriately) you can lose 4-5 pounds a Month, so 60 lbs in a year to be healthy.... You need to Do exercises to build muscles to tighten your skin after you lose the weight... that should do it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
