I think when you are the boss, you get to make the rules... but you're not the boss. I think not giving two weeks is unprofessional regardless of how long you've been working there. I think you hired on for the 12-8 shift, so comparing it to "a normal 9-5 job" is irrelevant - but it is your attempt to not admit you're doing something not quite right.
I think you should not consider using this job as a reference. I think when you grow up, you should be a supervisor/manager with employees just like you are now.
You really do a class act and butter wouldn't melt in your mouth. Is that what you want us to say? It's disgraceful enough that you would quit after two weeks, but in addition you do so dishonorably.
I also happen to know that this particular company is a decent one.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
