Will you be getting your boss anything for Boss's Day next week? If so, what? If not, why not?

Nope my office used to do those things, then we changed locations and positions shifted and we haven't celebrated boss' day since. I used to really love my former boss, now I hardly ever even see the new one, say good morning, and that's about it unless there's some sort of special project I need to do. And, we didn't get an adminstrative assistant's gift at all...not even a mention..

A plastic giraffe. Our teacher symbol for the school year is the giraffe because "We stick our necks out for our kids. " :) Actually there’s a whole little story comparing good teachers to giraffes, but it’s at school.

Our principal sent it to us with our info about back to school meetings. As a result, our building is loaded with giraffes - on posters, screen savers, etc. Our Christmas party invitation is a drawing I commissioned a student to do of a giraffe in a Santa hat. We even have a 7 foot one in the main office named Lorenzo that a local artist donated when he heard about the story.
