Herman Van Rompuy and Catherine Ashton are both from countries that produce beer not wine. Will that affect Europe's direction?

I am sure this is why they got their support from Germany, even though there might be a future conflict on WHAT beer should dominate. Germany is more focussed on quantity, while Belgium and England focus more on quality and diversity. Whether both their elections will be positive for beer in general?

Well, who knows, rumors go that Van Rompuy is already preparing a proposition to lower beer taxes! (no sources of course! ) I don't know if any of them is actually a beer-drinker... And yes, as I created the Mahalo news page Van Rompuy European President, I am well aware of these two new leaders :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
